Privacy
How I handle your information.
Plain-language details on what this website collects, why, and the choices you have. Last updated October 22, 2026.
Who I am
Sustaina Partners is an independent advisory firm led by Matthew Young, based in Providence, Rhode Island. In this policy, “I,” “me” and “Sustaina Partners” refer to the firm. Questions about privacy can go to matt@sustainapartners.com.
What I collect
- Information you give me. When you request an overview, book a call or email me, I receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, company and message.
- Website usage information. This site uses HubSpot to understand how visitors use it. HubSpot’s cookies and similar technologies record things like pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location based on IP address, and device and browser type.
- Email engagement. If I send you an email or document through HubSpot, I may see whether it was opened, whether links were clicked and which pages of a shared document were viewed.
How I use it
- To respond to your requests and send the materials you asked for.
- To schedule and prepare for conversations.
- To understand which content is useful and improve this website.
- To follow up about services that may be relevant to you. You can ask me to stop at any time.
I don’t sell your personal information, and I don’t share it with other clients.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a banner explains the cookies this site uses. You can turn off non-essential cookies by category, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. This site also honors Global Privacy Control signals from browsers that send them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings as well.
Service providers
I use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and my business, and they process information on my behalf:
- HubSpot: contact management, website analytics, forms and email.
- Calendly: scheduling calls.
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Google Workspace: email and documents.
Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
How long I keep it
I keep contact and engagement information for as long as it’s useful for our relationship or required for business records, and delete it when it no longer is or when you ask.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or limit how it’s used, and to opt out of tracking. To make a request, email matt@sustainapartners.com and I’ll respond promptly.
Security
I use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
